Kelly is a general practitioner and GP obstetrician with special interests in obstetrics, women’s health, infant care and breastfeeding, paediatrics, mental health, sexual health and gender issues including trans health, men’s health, chronic pain and chronic disease management and rare disorders like PKU (phenylketonuria). Kelly provides the full range of contraceptive services including mirena, and medical termination of pregnancy. Kelly also works at the Bellorana Nursing home and does home visits in certain circumstances. Kelly grew up in Bellingen, attending Orama Primary School and Bellingen High School. She completed a BA (Hons in Philosophy) at U.N.E in Armidale and U.Q in Brisbane and her medical degree MBBS at A.N.U in Canberra. She has previously worked for Greenpeace, Amnesty International and the Bodleian Library at Oxford University. Kelly has worked probono for the Medevac program for refugees on Manus Island. With her husband, they homeschool their three beautiful children on their off grid property and menagerie complete with ducks, chooks, donkeys, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtle and a standard poodle. When not at work you will find her gardening, singing in the Sohum choir or riding her green e-bike through town.
