Platypus Foods

Kelly and Jay also run Platypus Foods as a non profit company which manufactures and sells low protein medical food for people with Phenylketonuria (PKU) and other metabolic disorders. We started this company after their daughter, Olive was born with PKU. You can find more information about this at the Platypus Foods website.

Kelly is a general practitioner and GP obstetrician with special interests in obstetrics, women’s health, infant care and breastfeeding, paediatrics, sexual health and gender issues including trans health, men’s health, chronic pain and chronic disease management and rare disorders like PKU (phenylketonuria).

Brydie Ksiazek

Dr Brydie Ksiazek is an experienced GP who lives locally with her young family. She obtained her medical degree from of the University of New South Wales, studying, training and working in the Coffs region for most of this time. She also managed the amazing task of having babies and raising children during this time.

Marina Seltsova

Marina (she/her) is a GP registrar who obtained her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2016. Her areas of interest include paediatrics, women's health, sexual health, mental health, neurodivergence, trans and gender diverse persons' health, and preventative medicine. Dr Marina is available for appointments Monday to Friday.

Dr Matthew Mcinerney

Dr Matthew (He/Him) has recently moved to the area from Wollongong where he has been working for the last 3 years in the hospitals and Emergency Departments of the Illawarra area. Matthew is a GP registrar who obtained his medical degree in 2020 from the University of Wollongong and will bring his passion for patient care and emergency medicine to our practice. Before becoming a doctor, Matthew has previously had a long career in emergency and remote area nursing and is very excited to be returning to the country to continue his rural practice. He has a special interest in pain medicine, both acute and chronic, as well as LGBTQIA health care and sports medicine. Matthew is available for appointments Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Hollie brings a wealth of expertise to the Bellingen community, with a strong focus on women’s health, emergency medicine, and a genuine passion for children’s health. Hollie is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care and building a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. In addition to a commitment to patient-centred care, Hollie is an enthusiastic beachgoer, traveller, and enjoys spending quality time with family and relaxing with their beloved dog, Koko. Hollie will be available for appointments Monday to Friday commencing February 2025.
